So I found out something interesting this weekend. People are starting to do 02 intervals. Or as the Boulder Center for Sports Medicine calls them “Supplemental Oxygen Training Sessions”. Apparently you can go harder and deeper with 02. Some guys are even strapping portable 02 on their backs and doing intervals outside…

How is a guy to compete with this? Is this legal? Yes….. should it be?????? I don’t know.. I think the field should be completly flat and the rules are that you can just ride your bike and train… no supplemental anything.. Make it an even playing field.

Anyone have a grand-parent who has an extra 02 device that they are not using????

So, if you see me riding up Swan Mountain with a gas mask on…. just shake your head and wave.
