Back in 1995 I learned to program for the web. We didn’t have WYSIWYG editors, we had to hand code everything. I’ve played around with these WYSIWYG editors since and done some light wed design around the way. I can make my way around HTML and still program, but I’d like to continue to learn. For 2011 I’ve made the commitment to sharpen my web development and design skills and get a Web Design Professional Certificate from Minneapolis Community and Technical College. I’ll be taking the following classes:
* HTML I & II
* Dreamweaver I & II
* CSS
* Creating Graphics for the Web
* Flash I & II

2011 – Breaking Out Of The Comfort Zone
untitled
Nothing in the World can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination are omnipotent. The slogan press on has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race. -Calvin Coolidge
